Foul smelling these creatures are. Carrion beetles clean up dead animals, they even bury dead things and lay eggs on the buried carcass. They have mites on them that keep them clean and eat maggots that are on the found carcasses. They show up in the moth trap so are attracted to the light, the light has different wave lengths so don't know which one is attracting them. They have a defence system where they spray a foul smelling liquid that smells like carrion. Nicrophorus mariginatus
